The Phantom Vettes Corvette Club would like to thank Jim "WAM" Harkins for arranging this event and making it possible for the Club to gain access to the Phantom F-4 Jets.
Jim Harkins graduted from the USAF Academy in 1982 and later retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.
His career includes:
* From 1984 to 1989 he flew A-10's in England and Germany.
* Royal Air Force Exchange to Jaguar in Lossiemouth, Scotland 1989-92
* Gliders at Academy in CO 1992-95
* F-16's in Korea 1996-1997
* F-16 Instructor at Luke, AFB, AZ 1997-2000
* F-16 in Egypt as Det Commander 2000-01
* F-16 Instructor at Luke, AFB 2001-2005
* Operational Test & Evaluation at Kirtland AFB, NM 2005-2007.
* QF-4 Instructor Pilot & Remote Controller at Holloman AFB, NM 2007-Present.
Jim continues to fly Phantom's; his F-4 is pictured below.
